FLESHWATER ‘JUXTAPOSITION’ ALBUM LAUNCH
[ABSTRACT]
This project was a conceptual album launch for the American alternative rock band, 'Fleshwater'. Having only a single album to their name, I wanted to create a new potential concept for a future release that pursued a heavier style of music that is refined yet experimental. Playing on the idea of 'juxtaposition', I wanted to use contrasting colours and shapes. The process was heavily experimental, I played with warping typography through scanning, organic line-making with ink and then digitally manipulated these elements into the designs you see before you.
