MOOMBA FESTIVAL REBRANDING
[ABSTRACT]
This rebranding project for the Moomba Festival transforms everyday moments around the Yarra River into a dynamic celebration of Melbourne’s vibrant spirit. Held annually during the Labour Day long weekend in March, Moomba aims to turn familiar routines into memorable experiences that unite the community. The festival connects locals, families, and tourists through five key programs, creating moments that showcase Melbourne’s unique creative energy. This refreshed approach positions Moomba as an iconic event that builds anticipation and brings the city to life, celebrating the connections that define Melbourne.

Kirrip, on behalf of the graduating Bachelors and Masters of Communication Design cohort of 2024, we respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Owners of the land and waters on which we design in 2024. We pay respect to their Elders past and present, and recognise the rich traditions and continuing creative cultures of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of Australia.
